Winter Weather Advisory issued for the NYC area tomorrow

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for New York City and its surrounding areas, lasting from 6 a.m. tomorrow until midnight.

Mixed precipitation is expected, with total snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches, ice accumulations of a light glaze possible, and wind gusts as high as 35 mph.

Expect slippery and hazardous road conditions that could impact the morning commute.  By the evening commute, the National Weather Service expects precipitation to most likely be in the form of rain, with hazardous travel conditions continuing.  Exercise caution when traveling during these times, and check the Columbia Transportation website for changes or delays to University shuttles.
