What to Do in An Emergency

Notification 

• Call Public Safety on your campus immediately.
• Call Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) on your campus during business hours (9 AM - 5 PM) for laboratory incidents.
• Public Safety will notify EH&S at all other times and about incidents outside of laboratories.

Immediate Safety Considerations

• Avoid contact
• Isolate the area
• Alert others nearby 

Do Not Self-Manage 

• Do not attempt cleanup unless trained
• Do not re-enter until cleared by EH&S and/or Public Safety
