Dear Faculty and Staff,
Although classes are suspended, the University is not closed. We will continue all other business as usual to the extent we reasonably can.
The situation is extremely fluid, as all of us understand, so our policies will have to evolve as conditions warrant. For now, our standard policies on attendance, leave and other related issues all remain in place.
Because this is an unfolding situation, we understand that you will have many questions, including about this week and beyond. We will be providing further guidance as it becomes available. In the meantime, please consult columbia.edu/coronavirus for updates and other resources.
