Governor Cuomo and Mayor Bloomberg have announced that the New York City Metropolitan Transit Authority will shut down mass transit citywide beginning at 7:00 p.m. today, October 28. Public schools are also closed on Monday.

Students should check email and their individual school websites for other important updates and cancellations.

All essential personnel are required to report to work Monday, October 29. Accordingly, essential personnel who have safe and reliable means of transportation should make reasonable efforts given weather and safety conditions to come to work as scheduled.  If essential personnel are unable to get to work because of a lack of safe and reliable transportation they should inform their supervisors as soon as possible and they will be paid for the day.

Non-essential personnel are not required to report to work on Monday.

Public Safety officers will be on duty. To report an emergency on campus, call Public Safety at (212) 854-5555. For off-campus emergencies, please call 911.
