Columbia University Facilities and Operations is monitoring the cluster of Legionnaires’ disease cases in the Upper East Side neighborhoods of Carnegie Hill and Yorkville. 

We are entering summer’s first heat wave, with the National Weather Service issuing an Extreme Heat Warning for New York City and its surrounding region in effect from Wednesday, July 1 through Saturday, July 4.

With gratitude to our Facilities teams for their expeditious work to ensure campus grounds are accessible and with improving weather conditions expected throughout the greater New York City area, we will return to in-person instruction tomorrow, February 24.
